1. Order processing time may take 1 to 5 days depending on the time of the season before the order will be ready for shipment from the Kegg's facility.
2. Orders are shipped UPS. UPS delivers Monday-Friday excluding holidays and will not deliver to post office boxes.
3. Please provide an address where someone will be to receive the order. Chocolate left in outdoor temperatures or sunlight will melt.
4. Orders will be shipped ground unless it is determined by Kegg's shipping department personnel that the order requires air shipping to prevent melting. Ground shipping takes 1-7 days from the day the order leaves the Kegg's facility depending on the destination of the shipment. Many Texas destinations receive the shipment the next day.
5. Shipping charges computed with an on-line order are at the ground rates shown in the chart below. Air shipping rates will be communicated to the customer for approval prior to the order leaving the Kegg's facility with the additional shipping charges above the ground rates billed as a separate charge above what is shown in the on-line calculation.
6. Handling and/or ice pack charges required to prevent chocolate from melting will be billed as a separate charge above what is shown in the on-line calculation.
Chocolate Confections
1. Chocolate will be shipped only during the months of November through March which are the coolest months in Houston.
2. Orders may still require ice packs during these months depending on the temperature on the day of shipment and the destination of the order. When ice packs are required $5 per $50 of order value will be added to the cost of the order. The customer will be notified of these charges prior to the order leaving the Kegg's facility. This charge will appear as a separate credit card or Pay Pal charge.
Warm Weather Shipments
1. Certain confections can be shipped year round and these will be shipped UPS ground. These include Pecan Crisp, Peanut Brittle and Divinity.
